I did. Unfortunately this wrapper might be beyond my skill level tho. After that first one I haven't been able get any of the wrappers to stretch properly without tearing.
Is it drier now than on your first effort? Perhaps it just needs a little more moisture and time to hydrate so it can stretch for you...

I think it's the opposite actually. Might've over moistened it. Let it hydrate too long possibly. Not sure. Like I said it's very possible it's just something I'm doing wrong but I've tried a few times now and I either have to back off the stretch and the veins wrinkle up or I tear it. ‍♂️

Corojo wrapper over short scrap. Burned terribly, tunneled three inches down and then I snipped it here and re-lit.
I didn't think the wrapper was THAT thick. I also thought it had spent enough time out of the humidor (~24 hours on my desk)
The RH at 11am was 78%.
I have been using Corojo Ligero and viso filler for wrapper and was thinking of getting the Corojo Oscuro, any opinions on it? Would there be much of a difference in flavour?

Smoke it yet?
Yes sir , but my sinuses have been acting up a bit as of late so my taste is off just a bit. It’s dark and toasty tasting and not near as peppery on the tongue as I thought it would be. I would say it’s in the ballpark between Matafina and San Andreas. Would be good for giving your cigars the darker maduro taste without being too full or spicy.

We learn pretty much by the session, rather than the cigar count. My suggestion is to always "roll one; smoke one", until you have mastered getting the draw right. Then you can roll massive numbers of cigars per session, since the only remaining goal is cosmetic. Roll one; smoke one.

EDIT: there are numerous cigar-rolling videos on the forum. Check our Index of Key Forum Threads.

Also I have decided to try my hand at rolling. I bought The terroso profundo kit from WLT is there anything else i need to just get started?
I found that blend way too strong and spicy for me. You could wrap a corona of mild secos with the '92 and it would be strong, add the Habano 2000 on top of that and yowza. Maybe thats just me . All great tobaccos to have though.

I just got finished watching one of the videos. Im excited and I wasn’t sure what blend I would like (I really just have got into cigars) and more or less just picked one. We’ll see if nothing else I’ll know what I don’t like and get some experience.

Excited to see your home rolls! Post pics up and definitely ask questions. All fantastic people here to assist in any way. The best thing about it, is that you don’t really need to drop big $$$ on fancy tools. I’ve picked some up myself, but always go back to these:
-Salad Chopper or pizza cutter. Instead of a chaveta
-Cutting board. Preferably one you can dedicate to rolling if made of wood.
-Newspaper strips. We all get them or at least the local ones. May even be some in your mailbox now.
-cigar glue. Not even technically necessary to really start. Helps with ascetics & keeping it together…. If only we had glue for all instances in life.
-plastic grocery bags or even small (unsented garbage bags). Used as a “casing chamber”. Perhaps even an old cooler if you have one. @webmost has a casing chamber cooler thread here somewhere I think.
-spray bottle. Filled with water (distilled in my opinion) to spray leaf leaf to case up (if needed).

Outside of that, just repetition. I’ve banged out big batches and small batches. In my opinion, you get better consistency in your results by doing a few a day (if you can) and focus on correct casing that works for you, the method your rolling (entubado, stacked, accordion, etc. etc.), and making sure your filler ensures good airflow/burn.

Be a turtle who listens to @deluxestogie . Slow & steady “wins the race” (so to speak), and “roll one, smoke one”. It definitely allows you to adjust and think about how you put together the filler, how you bunched up the filler, and finally how you wrapped them.

Also, I believe @deluxestogie mentioned it in his book about a make shift Lieberman machine. I highly suggest his book, because it does have some good tips and tricks, in addition to a wealth full of knowledge that touches on pipe tobacco, chew, snus, etc. Also, tips on growing tobacco. Anywho… this method works fantastic when your in a pinch or have some scrap tobacco to roll up.

Materials:
1x cutting board. Cheap from most retailers
1x used up bag from WLT
1x strip of Gorilla Duct Tape
2x hands. May be your own, but optional. Just need to move the tobacco down the board. Some may say a rolling pin would work best.

Edit was to add pic, since I got fat fingered and posted before adding

Sorry if I came across as a jerk there, I picked that blend and the Oscuro one as well. Your combo contains all great tobaccos I just didn’t want you to be discouraged if you find it a bit strong. If you do just swap the binder or wrapper with a milder leaf from the same kit.
