You have all inspired me, and the cigar industry discouraged me...rolled my own cigar(illo)
I got an assortment of dark air cured leaves and started mixing them with my cigarette tobacco....really does amazing things to my smoke; creamy, earthy, fruity, coffee and other exotic food flavors.
The assortment has some leaves that are fairly intact and others that have sections that will do...and voila.
It ain't pretty, it might be the smallest ugly cigar ever rolled but...smoked a little funny, should have waited more than 30 minutes for it to dry...but it smoked and tasted quite nice.
I used a stronger blend of perique, red, little turkish and a touch of burley and some of the other dark air as a filler, skipped the binder this time.
Granted there's no binder and it's not a long filler, but it made a nice ash and I smoked the whole thing, wanting another one.
Cheers
