Had some fun testing out the molds picked up from WLT!
A before and after. I will say that overall, an area of improvement will be the spongy head in the round head molds. The torpedo turned out just right! I let them sit overnight to dry up a bit. It was fun bunching that 60 ring gauge! I felt like a chef adding a little bit of this and that. It definitely takes more filler than I initially anticipated, but that’s ok! Live and learn! Not to mention, it got my thought juices going as to how a larger ring gauge could allow for some more complexity in filler choices that I have previously not have thought about. I think I’ll focus on the round head 52 ring gauge for the time being...
W-Corojo Oscuro
B- Dom Olor on 58 & 59
B- Vuelta Abajo on 60 & 61
F- Nic Seco 2014
F- Corojo 2006 Ligero
F- Peru Ligero
*Fingers crossed*
Time to set the timer to rest em up for a little bit.
