I'm a premium manufacturer? never thought of it that way. Who am I kidding? You mean "fancy" like this?

.. not so much.
OMG! WTF have I just seen!? That is insane! Those are absolutely stunning @MarcL. I hope to aspire to that level after many many many years. I know my artistic hand may never be able to accomplish that detail in the martini glass or whole leaf on the cigars at each end. I’ve been tossing around some barber pole ideas in my head. This just blew the doors off of the that door!:ROFLMAO:

Simply gorgeous and a true work of art on so many levels. Bravo sir!(y)(y)

I've mentioned this a few times. Cigarworld is the only craft where artisanal creations are held to the standard of mass produced factory stuff.

Bob

Bob- I would dare say that the comparisons would come from a wide array of perspectives. From my background, I got into cigars through learning, smoking and collecting premium cigars for years. There’s a handful of reasons why I’m here and am thankful for all the knowledge you all have and share. So, in comparison for a “newbie” like myself coming into it with more of a familiarity with the premium cigars out there, that’s what I referenced more so in how they look. I could further clarify though by saying that the wrapper/design is on a whole different level and brings in an amount of detail that blows away any “premium cigar” look.

Perhaps, I interpreted incorrectly.

Regardless, the amount of Artisanship shown is top top notch @MarcL !

Despite all my grousing and grumping, there are certainly commercial cigars that I admire and enjoy. Each of us has only his or her personal experience against which to compare and evaluate new things we encounter. My sincere apologies, if you felt it was a personal criticism.

Bob! No need to apologize! I have some think skin myself and always appreciate a differing thought process or opinions! Plus, if that scared me away, I think I would have some other issues to address :ROFLMAO: . I think you hit the nail on the head though with "Each of us has only his or her personal experience against which to compare and evaluate new things we encounter." It's fantastic to see, hear and learn from you legends to help expand the thought process, knowledge, and experience!

Second batch. Sticks 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Happy I didn't need to follow a video this time. Thinner than my goal. I'm still being stingy with my Oscura kit leaves from WLT.

Truly a work of art! I’ll have to look over that website when work wraps up here. (y) (y)
I just found that site. She used to post a bit on botl and lurked here. I thought she had a user here but cant seem to find it. There was a shuttle van she and partner were to take to rolling on the road. The site looks good . cant wait to check her. Really something. I like some LFD Unico stuff. I did some of those.

The LFD video is cool! The amount of detail to do some of that stuff.... whew... I'm not so sure.

Aaaaaand after! All w/ scrap Habano 2000 wrapper. Scrappy Lil guys. :ROFLMAO: I’ve been going back through old “How to” videos and have been picking up addition pointers. Not pretty per se, but got a little better with the triple cap on some. 6E374EEF-188F-4BAC-A8C8-DB1664D5E6C6.jpeg

Definitely big.

Bob
Edit to add. I just saw that there was a picture on a computer screen. Yep I’m stupid LOL can’t believe I didn’t notice that first time!

Wow that is massive! I’m assuming you burn that like incense and not actually try to smoke it in your mouth? Though if your mouth is that big then I am equally impressed also have many questions.
