Have you no decency? Their altogethers are showing!
Gdaddy got me rolling these boxpressed when he posted a picture of a mold he had made.
I followed his lead and made my own mold. I now have a box full to put away. I have found it no more difficult rolling these then rolling round cigars.
Thanks for starting me this road G.

Here's one of the first tries with the mold I made.

did u find it hard to put the wrapper on the box pressed cigar?

Agreed Waikiki! I gift more of what I roll than what I smoke myself but I want to make sure I always have some on hand. A lot of people on some other forums that I am on are very interested in what I'm rolling and it helps keep me passionate about what I'm doing.
Charlie, I love the box press and commend you on the ability to create your own mold, those look fantastic. I just spent the last 5 hours start to finish pumping out these "Nick Melillo blend". A few came out kinda rough and my bunch was a little short for the mold but happy to be building up stock.
Nice! Which forums?
(please PM if you want)
I don't think that's much of an issue on a standard parejo mold, but with a perfecto mold it definitely is problematic for aesthetics. I'm sure they will smoke well, they just aren't as pretty as they could be.I rolled my 4th and 5th cigars yesterday afternoon and I too am having the "bunch was a little short for the mold" issue. I left them in binder in the mold though, so depending on how they look and draw this afternoon I will either wrap them or open them back up and fix them. I'm not sure if I am just bunching less or binding tighter, but I do know that the last was too tight and difficult to draw.
The cigar in the last photo looks professional. If you roll and smoke one at a time, you will learn faster.

Nick, I put the wrappers on after box pressing the bunch. I then put the cigar with wrapper back into the mold for hours to set the shape with the wrapper.
I find it just as easy to wrap a square shaped bunch as a round bunch.
I only cap the ones I give away.
