An exercise in overindulgence.

Bob, I like how your cigars always seem to have a nice taper toward the head. I assume that’s purposeful, and something that comes with rolling countless times.

That shape is what the leaf of the filler naturally wants to do. I hold all the filler at the foot (the leaf tips), then repeatedly tear it to length, and add it to the bunch. It tends to result in a narrower gauge toward the head. I just bind the leaf to the proper compression. To produce a cylinder I have to play with it more. I'm a lazy roller. Most old fashioned cigars (~100+ years ago) looked like this.

Mine was supposed to come yesterday but the wonderful USPS decided to delay my package. What do you think of the new wrapper, Marc?
I've smoked a couple wrapped in this so far, and I like it: in blends where I would have used an olor seco I use a PC instead. Burns well and doesn't taste bad, and has a nice colorado-tinted habanoesque color and aroma. My one misgiving is that I only got a 25% yield out of my 4-leaf sample. I was able to cut 1-inch strips out of those big-holey ones to wrap cigarillos.
