Well, no sticks in the picture but I made some quick press molds to try. Theses are first edition and I know how to make them better. I just wanted to see how well it would work.
Old barns were repeatedly painted with lead paint. Not sure if certain types of wood are better for a mold
Happy New Year to you, sir.
I used some 2x4 fir for the robusto. It was literally to try it and learn. Seemed good enough. But not the first choice. The petit corona are from some mahogany i have. It will be kept for duration. I imagine it is the closest to the real thing, if you don't count the one I made as real one?Nice Job! What kind of wood did you use? Does the type of wood matter?
Good to know! I may just have to chalk it up to a nice looking piece. I’ll double check with my buddy who made it, but even the slight chance of lead on it will be a no go. I appreciate the info @deluxestogie !Old barns were repeatedly painted with lead paint.

Burn sucks... So far. I will have to wait longer. It's a very oily wrapper that doesn't want to be burned.I do like the colours too, almost reminds me of a creme brûlée. And sweet raisin is exactly what I was thinking when I opened the bag
