Kinda like saying "save the baby seals!" to a mackerel; or "ain't them baby polar bears cute!" in front of a seal, or....

LOL..yes. I don't plan on disappointing myself. I've thought it over and finally convinced myself that I have enough and need no more. I have so much going now that I am worried about the harvest even before I get these babies in the ground and to maturity. Maybe that is the first step towards recovery.

1. I have come to believe that I am powerless over my addiction but today I pulled the plug on impulsive behaviors and told myself NO. And I meant it.

GM, you are strong-willed !
I am not :D :D I started new seeds 3 days ago (shame on me !)

I had to start again the "Little Dutch" and the "Kasturi Angsa", they did not make it...
And... and... I added 3 new strains :D (call me crazy !)

Now I know I started too much :D

I'll call ya Crazy Charly but I can not do that without taking my own inventory first. Yes, I have decided to stop this madness and stick with exactly what I have right now. I am growing some Lil Dutch so maybe out of all the other stains I can get a good roll up outta them this year and give it a try.

So what 3 new strains have you started you crazy man you...lol

Sorry, it's my fault, I sincerely appologize, so here is a picture :

crop.jpg

A small diameter cigar, Semois puro (mild and light, but enjoyable) : volado + seco + ligero, wrapped in volado leaves.
You can see in the background that I made drink to go with it (rhum + ice + sugar + lemon)

P.S. the new strains are : "primitive orinoco", "harrow velvet" and "bmc #24" (thanks to a nice guy from Malaysia) ;)

The grass needs mowing today. Unfortunately, the dew has not yet dried. So, I sat on my porch and smoked this cigar.

Garden20170402_2541_cigar_corojoOscuroWrapper_600.jpg

The filler is a leaf of WLT Nicaragua Habano ligero, a leaf of WLT Criollo ligero, and the other half of the WLT Corojo Oscuro wrapper, which could not be used for wrapper, due to a tear that I inflicted on it. Shucks. It's all double bound in WLT Besuki.

The bound bunch spent a brief time in my cigar mold, prior to wrapping. The taper at the head was enforced by the wrapper, and twisted into a knot.

Rolled up a few cigars today. Brazilian Mata fina wrapper, Mexican San Andres binder, habano and corojo ligeros, flojo viso, and habano seco for fillers.
