Thanks man, I was surprised how much fun they are to design. These are are gonna make great gifts.Nice sticks and I love that band.
Just be sure it's not the new kind that is a plastic formulation. The original Elmer's Glue is essentially wallpaper paste—just like regular cigar glue.I switched to Elmer's for glue.
Those look great for that many! Got a name for em?Been chuggin along here! Now that the temps got nicer out, more and more on the “to do list”. However, still doing something every day with tobacco! Just finished up a batch of 50 sticks. 10x 43 rng. 10x 44rng. 30x 50rng.
Wrapper: Habano ‘92
Binder: Dominican
Filler: 3 parts Nicaraguan, 1 part Dominican, 1 part Pennsylvania. View attachment 55640View attachment 55641
Thanks @WillQuantrill ! Greatly appreciate it brother! The name he put to the blend is “Laugh Now, Cry Later”. The condensed backstory is that the blend will be so good now that you Laugh out of enjoyment. Cry Later is when you run out of em. Lol. I always like hearing what names people come up with and then the back story it behind it. If it means something to them, then awesome! I’m not one to judge. Those look great for that many! Hey, those turned out pretty good. Gonna have to get one of those big rollie machines.these aint pretty but a good way to use up some scrap, and they make a nice quick smoke when I don't have the time to sit with a full size
the neat part is after the binder is fed in i I let them sit in the roller about 20-30 minutes, kind'a like having them in a mold before wrapingHey, those turned out pretty good. Gonna have to get one of those big rollie machines.
I have noticed that Bermocolle 320 smells an awful lot like Elmers.Just be sure it's not the new kind that is a plastic formulation. The original Elmer's Glue is essentially wallpaper paste—just like regular cigar glue.

Great lookin sticks there Jackpine! The leaf combo sounds like a good mix two thumbs up!Received my latest order from WLT yesterday, they included a couple of samples, Nicaragua esteli viso and Habano 2000 wrapper, I combined those with Dominican binder to come up with these. Hoping for a nice mild smoke, I have to report back in a month or so after these have set in the humidor for a short while. Thanks WLT
thanks, I think it was generous of Don to add the samples, waiting patiently to try them outGreat lookin sticks there Jackpine! The leaf combo sounds like a good mix two thumbs up!
those look good to me, nothing better than being able to sit back in the evening with your fav. beverage and enjoying the work of your handsI really need to get a 3d printer or a table top cnc router so I can make molds and maybe even a box presss or two…I’m getting better at rolling imo (this is stick number 8) but I’m ready for some uniformity and aesthetically pleasing cigars!
