" Torcedor ", is that like the guy that escorts ppl on tours ?
My fist few cigars weren't that nice. They still aren't. I found the Ecuadorian Maduro wrappers tough to get smooth cause of the thickness and veins.
Matter a fact I still have big problems with them.
Hey everyone. I'm a younger guy from PA. I'm new to cigar rolling and tobacco in general. Recently bought the Sabroso Medio kit from WLT. I scoured the internet (including everyone's posts from this site which helped a ton), put together a makeshift mold and set up in my garage. Here's a few of them. The second one in is wrapped with binder because I ran out of wrapper and the white residue is cause of too much pectin (I'm using xanthan gum now). Probably going to buy another blend kit soon. I'm hooked.

TRAVIS! Izzat you? New Oxford?
I feel I'm getting a little better at this after 30 plus some cigars.
These are my latest cigars.
I'm starting the get a tighter roll to them. My cigars use to have a soft feel to them even after the finished wrapper was applied but not they are coming out with a more solid feel to them.
I now have the feel to rolling tighter when applying the binder to the bunched filler. I still have a long way to go tho.
Even with the louse roll they all burn well. Here are 2 of the latest.

I still have a way to go to get a real nice tight well rolled cigar
MO they look louse at the ends then they really are I hate wasting to much tobacco so I don't cut the foot end of my cigars. I leave them as they are rolled.
If I took a 1/2in off the foot they would look better then they do. But alot of room to improve on my packing still.
Gdaddy, Yes I'm using a mold now and I will try to fill them more on the next few to see how it works out. I was hesitant to over fill them as I worried about to much compression in the mold for some dumb reason. Not sure why I thought that.
Thanks for the input guys, it really does help.
