As 2018 is almost gone, I wanted to share my latest rolling attempts with you.

I am very slow at rolling cigars, it took me almost 3 hours to roll these 4 little cigars ... (yes... I am slow...)
And they have no wrapper, I used no mold (you can see how not straight they are).

No, the numbers on the bands are not there for the Advent calendar :D
The numbers correspond to the number of the cigar since I got tired of writing the whole receipt on such tiny papers...
Now I have a file in which I write the content of each cigar I roll, and give each a number.

These four cigars contains Bahia as the main ingredient, to which I added something else (different for each number).

I will share these cigars with the (too) few smokers I have in my family.

I wish you all the best for this last day of 2018 !
And Long Live FTT !!!

Nice cigars. From the photo they seem a Lancero size? Can you tell us the caracteristic of the Bahia tobacco. I read somewhere that it have some floreal notes.

Thank you guys.
Yes, long thin cigars are harder to roll, but I like this format, I feel like it's more about aromas than about nicotine.
And it uses less tobacco (I already grew quite a lot of different strains, but I don't have a lot of leaves of each), which is a plus for me.

I don't think the Bahia is specifically «floral» (sorry I am not very good at putting names on aromas, but I work on this!), all I can say is that this strain grow well in my garden, cures easily and is flavorfull, so it's a good strain in my book !
It's flavor is quite different than the other cigar strains (I can say the same about Nostrano del Brenta).

I seldom use wrapper (this way I save my tobacco to roll more stogies).
And I don't have any mold ;)

Thank you for your comments, we are enjoying our last evening of 2018 with too much to eat and too much to drink :p

@waikikigun @MarcL are you gentlemen using the entubado bunch technique?
I use entubado, semi-entubado and estrujado. I like to limit booking to binding/wrapping to maximize burn/air flow. I like to set the draw in the shoulder/head and set the pressure in the body to maximize air flow and in tern, an even and consistent burn.

Italian..
