Mata Fina is a strain grown, primarily, in Brazil.
My batch has a mix of Seco to Ligero and can be used as filler, binder or wrapper ... tasty stuff!

Mata Fina is a region of Brazil, in which the primary cigar variety grown is actually called Bahia.

@webmost sent me this a year or two ago, and it's been sitting my cabinet ever since. I'm packing up the garage this morning for next weekends big move, and something mellow sounded just right. I know this came from another member here, but who's name I can't seem to remember. Anyway, it's a damn fine cigar. Little spice, little sweet, and a mellow smattering of that fine tobacconess that @webmost waxes on about.

Yup it's koa wood and abalone. Broke 2 wedding rings so now I'm just buying cheap ones on Amazon to replace them haha

I too am a member of the Tungsten Club for Men. After bending and scratching several gold ones I got this for $25. Had it almost 10 years now. No scratches, no bending, and it bounces like crazy if ya drop it.

The last time I dropped mine, it broke a slate tile. They're tough!

To keep this in line with the thread, what's your ring gauge? LOL
Mine is about a 50-52 and I do actually use it sometimes as an approximation for cigars.

Back to the theme of this thread, I have 8 blanks in the box press at the moment. They will get their wrappers tonight.

Popped these out of the mold and wrapped. Eschewed traditional finishes of caps or pigtails for what I’m going to call “socks”. Two different blends of WLT. Looking forward to trying these out.
