no. 54 test burn: 0 seco 3 piloto viso 2 corojo ligero, sumatra binder, corojo wrap, hand roll, 5.5 month rest

Good draw, OK burn. Strong, expected this. Tasted quite good after almost six months, did not expect that. Blend did not taste good when first rolled. VERY STRONK! Took it down to just under an inch and a half and that was all I could do. Got one more of these: will save for after a dinner that includes a 48 oz. côte de bœuf

Just wrapped this one today. It’s composed of
2 olor seco
1 Nicaraguan habano Viso
1 olor ligero
Nicaraguan binder
Mata Fina wrapper.

~5.5 x 42

As far as wrappers go, I’m digging the mata fina. When its in high case it’s very stretchy. I’ll let this one dry for a few days before smoking.

no. 126 test burn: 1 rene seco 1 corojo viso 1 san vicente ligero, corojo wrap as binder, ct shade 2006 wrapper, all tobaccos WLT, 80 day rest.

Already know how this is going to taste: superlative mild/medium cigar. Have repeatedly rolled ten packs of these in 36 and 46rg and they've been consistently great. Reminds me of the great long gone Zino Davidoff Mouton Cadets. You can smoke them in a day or two, but they improve with age.

This is an original blend, my hand wasn't tipped by anything other than fooling around with cigar tobacco I had.

If you're looking for a great morning or gentle afternoon cigar blend, this is it.

Zino Davidoff Mouton Cadets
As an impoverished student in the early 1970s, I used to (only occasionally) order a box of Mouton Cadets from Zino himself. They were...gulp...42 Swiss Francs per box of 25. He would ship them from Geneva. They had no branding or bands. There was a small, oval, neon orange sticker outside the box that said, "Indonesian Cigars". The customs slip was marked "unsolicited gift", "Indonesian cigars". But the packaging always had that magical "rue de rive" address on it.

Seems like the big, non-intuitive innovation here is mixing Corojo and CT wrap. Thanks for the idea; I'll bung a few of these together today.

Whew, terrific toros. Beauty rolls, all.

I'm interested in your opinion on the blend. Kinda like an experiment being able to be replicated..
I'm out of SVlig, but of my 12 or so other ligeros I'd say 3 or 4 of them are in the ballpark. Worth trying anyway. I think the most dominant notes in that blend are the two wrappers.

I'll wrap up four reasonable facsimiles today. (Also worth noting is that I don't have the same CT wrapper, either, though I have four others).

Having a post dinner cigar watching the sun set. Also brought out my Cavendiah to finish drying overnight. This evening’s selection is a “Stewart” made with a blend of four ligeros as filler. Rich, slightly floral, with a touch of caramel & chocolate. Best enjoyed slowly ;)

I rolled ten of the 50s, but gave a few away.
1 CV Criollo ligero
1 CV corojo viso
2 criollo seco
Bound with 1/2 CV Dominican
Wrapped with US Connecticut

I rolled one of the perfectos (50x6.5)
Honduran filler filler, Honduran filler binder, Honduran wrapper wrapper.

Love your cat, and the cigars are nice too!!!
