How does it taste?

If you are asking about the Oscuro y Rico kit, it tastes really good to me. But, that’s about as well as I can go into detail. They have been the only cigars I’ve smoke this year. My local Sunday weather is looking good, and I’m excited about having another then.
I would buy again.

Taste test of above: These were some rolls I’ve been meaning to do for a while. The larger rolls are CVVA and the shorter rolls are Criollo (1 leaf each S, V, and L). I’ve always blended the two but never sampled them individually.

Criollo
Sweet tea, cedar, nutmeg, caramel. Does not burn well.

CVVA
White Pepper, earth, Floral, bland (in comparison to the criollo). Burns well

Testing out a new seco and the taste a Dominican binder and habano wrapper give it. So far so good, seco had strong coffee/earthy notes, binder gives a spicy note and wrapper gives a tang note. Over all not bad, looking forward to playing with the viso and ligero on this blend.

I'm sure I'm not the only one out there with a relatively unused stash of Japan 8. Well, I wrapped some sliced japan 8 rope up in CT shade. I used a widened blunt roller, and a 22ga mold. It's the right format for this stuff. I could see having a pack of these on hand in the glovey.

This is one of the ten from the rolling session yesterday, posted above. My favorite blend lately.

WLT’s Vuelta Abajo Habano Ligero and Rene Seco. Binder and wrapper from the same half-leaf of 2019 Red Front.

I loaned my chaveta to my son in Hawaii. I’ll get by.

44x4-ish. Spicy, with hints of unexpected flavors.

This little number, of which I rolled four, is 4x44. The vitola was motivated by the need to use some scrap wrapper with a very narrow "filet" range, and the fact I'd never rolled a half-corona before. But half-coronas are 3.5", and that just seemed too small. So I went in for the 4x44 that I had once enjoyed in the Warped El Oso Baby.

Rolled this one without a mold, one of my favorite blends so far. Really nice smooth “buttery” smoke in the 1st third, amping up to some mild but pleasant cinnamon spice towards the end of the stick. Only complaint was the draw was too loose for my liking.

1 Nic con ligero
1 Piloto viso
2 Coro seco
Nic binder
Corojo oscuro wrapper

Insane skills. I can’t do that with a mold. Respect!
