That is truly a beautiful wrapper.
Is the Ecuadorian iteration similar to the African in flavor?
I know that was a long wile back. Prolly difficult to remember.
Anything it tastes similar to?

It really is and a joy to work too.
I don't know if I had an other one but, if you are talking Arturo Fuente, I think so. Nutmeg, cinnamon and nutty sweetness. It's hard to compare.

Did you see the "Cigar Bliss, Demystifies the Art of Taste" thing?

Nope. Never saw it.
Got the vid url bookmarked
But the book price, and especially the kit, those are budget busters

Don's got some really interesting new wraps for sale now. Especially the Bronceado, Los Rios, and this Cam.
Have you tried all 3? Rank 'em?

New purchase of the Ecuador corona wrapper. Cut a strip off the top of the WLT notepad that comes with the order and made a cigar band out of it.

This wrapper is so interesting once it's properly cased. The color variations are very interesting! I just rolled a few with this wrapper and it has some subtle strength to it. It smells like raisins straight out of the bag and reminds me of Connecticut broadleaf.

I do like the colours too, almost reminds me of a creme brûlée. And sweet raisin is exactly what I was thinking when I opened the bag

This was a tasty stick and provided plentiful smoke. All WLT, Corojo Seco, Viso, and Ligero bound in Nicaraguan Habano Seco. Wrapped with a Criollo wrapper.
Looking at the head after cutting it, I was worried the burn would be lopsided, but it burned straight and even all the way down.
Definitely going to make as many of these as I can...
