Thanks guys! I could have probably taken more time with the wrappers to make them more pleasing to the eye but I'm not too worried about it. I must say I really like this vitola I have nearly no scrap rolling these. Plus you can get about 4-6 wrappers from one full leaf. Gotta love it.

I would light-up any one of them in a heartbeat.

If I saw that open box at a tobacconist, I would move on to something else. Why are we so fixated on uniformity and air-brushed appearance when we shop for commercial, mass-produced cigars?

Really theres nothing wrong with that though. Our expectations keep the quality control in check and anyone selling their cigars should be rolling the best cigars they can. A rough looking wrapper job has to makes you wonder how well they rolled the cigar lol. That being said a lot of very rustic cigars have been coming out and people seem to like it.
Now as someone that just enjoys a good smoke and a new home roller I'm more interested in everything other than the appearance. Good flavor, draw, even burn, smoke production. I figure after doing it enough the aesthetics just fall into place.

Spent a couple hours last night, and about four more today making some 'Christmas sticks' a puro of most of the types I grew last year and a few blends. My first attempt at something like a barbers pole also!
The small bunched ones are about cigarillo size.
Got that great black look just with dashboard curing - even found you can start with green leaf in a ziplock bag and just empty the water as it accumulates and you end up with that great dark colour and a rich smell!

I'd like to see some of the newer roller post some Cigar pics! Both hand rolled and those who use Cigar molds :)

Hi Dave, merry christmas from sweden to you and everyone at FTT.
I´v just tried to upload some pictures but it failed. It´s JPG file about 5mb. Is the size to big or what else could be wrong.
I´ll browse the forum for a solution or maybe you or someone else now whats wrong.

Greetings
Ville

It is ironic that the most common use for images made by digital cameras such as those in cell phones is for web page images, where the appropriate size is around 800 pixels wide; and yet the images these cameras take are apt to be several thousand pixels wide. If you were to display your 5 Mb picture full width on a web page, it would stretch about three feet off your computer screen to the right. Nevertheless, more megapixels sell more cameras; and so the camera makers are trapped in a contest to see who can make the camera least suitable to its most likely use.

See if you can dial down your resolution to 800 or at most 1000 pixels wide.
If not, reduce the image size.

I use a free android phone app called PhotoEditor
