1 Nic con ligero
2 aged Nic con seco
Pa binder
Mexican San Andres wrapper
Corona size

Rich, spicy, creamy, and a little strong.

I found for the MSA it’s best to let the cigar bunch dry out for a few days, then apply the MSA soaking wet (almost). Otherwise it’s extremely tough to use as a wrapper. Plus it’s so dark, you don’t end up with water spots.

Very nice. I have a soft spot for Nicaraguan fillers and dark wrappers. (y)

Today’s cigars are a bit on the rustic side as I wanted to use up some of the more mangled and perforated wrapper leaf I have. I made a robusto, a cigarillo and what I am calling an imperfecto. I am very curious to see how the latter cigar smokes.

I love it when a plan comes together. Triple Ligero in this one... I foresee an preset from WLT in the near future... Any suggestions on tobacco selections if one is looking for spicy full bodied blends? I’ve only used kits so far.

Get some of the Sumatra Cigar Binder and Nicaragua Condega Viso if you want to add a little "spice" to your flavor profile.

That might contribute to an explanation for some of the passionate discussions of why cigars are supposed to be made according to specific methods. Then again, it's way off topic for "pics".

Bob
I think it is interesting how often philosophy and tobacco converge as topics. With Baudrillard you could use tobacco as a foil to discuss consumerism and aesthetics in the cigar market; something I think most of us here are suspicious of given all the wonderful home-grown and self-constructed products that undermine the market forces of tobacco industry capital. It's a sort of 'underworld' here. But yeah, way off topic, haha.
