Marc, you're just ridiculously good!
As I pondered the wording of a deeply offended rejoinder, a better idea came to me. I walked over to my wide selection of cigar leaf, and picked out a pair of leaves from each and every ligero that I have. Since this unnamed brother swears that he doesn't like "maduro", I stuck with a Criollo 98 wrapper as a disguise.tried one of your cigars little mild but burned good after i let it go out few times better flavor
Now The Gloves Are Off!
One of my brothers recently received from me a birthday gift. For several weeks, I had rolled two cigars daily, and set them aside in my humidor. These were not my usual, slapped together stogies. These were thoughtfully blended, carefully molded, dutifully glued and meticulously wrapped double-coronas. They contained some of the finest cigar leaf on the planet.

This was too much filler for two cigars, but I forged ahead anyway. I would puke half-way through one of these beasts, if I were foolish enough to light one up. I'll be mailing them off to my more courageous sibling...as a special birthday bonus.
If I were forced to give a name to these, it would be something like one of the following:
Bob
- Neural Overload
- Toxicology Result
- Primary Cause
- Colonoscopy Prep
- Unfortunate Combination
- Gloves are Off!
Very nice boxpressed cigars ! CongratulationsTried out my homemade box press this weekend and had my first rolling session. Not too bad for a first try I guess.
Soooo perfect....
I have a twin-pronged approach that solves this for me: 1) No wet/moist wrapper. Case it in such a way that's stretchy yet totally dry, what I call "fluffy." Takes about 1 day of very light misting and bagging. 2) Very clean rolling board: any tobacco/tar residues the thing picks up at the veins will show on that leaf whereas not so much on brown leaves.I'm just starting to roll with Connecticut Shade. It is wonderfully thin a stretchy. One thing I've noticed, however, is that it seems to "bruise" or "burnish" on high points when the finished stick is rolled on the table to smooth it. This results in dark marks that correspond with veins or any raised feature on the surface of the cigar. Is there a way to avoid this?

It is very nice, essential and seems functional too.
