Yeah, I don't believe a word of it. Your neighbor from Cuba with thirty years' experience rolled these for you; didn't she? Fess up. No one can be that good right out of the gate.

... unless, that is, they are GIFTED WITH GOLDEN HANDS!

Ah, me. Why wasn't I gifted with golden hands like yours?

Thanks all for the motivational words. I rolled 5 each day now, and I think I'm getting the knack of this. I'll post some more pics later. Made a mold last night, those are looking pretty good.

The one in the picture was wrapped with one leaf . It rolls the cigar several rounds before dropping off the finished end .

I need to play with this roller more to see how well it works . One thing about it is it rolls really tight . I need to learn to add less filler . Mat size would have to be change to different size mats . It is a one piece mat with no adjustment but changing to a different mat longer or shorter would create different size cigars . It would take about one minute to change a mat to a different size . Easily done .
When rolling with bunch machines the top roller needs to be high enough off the roller plate so it does not contact the binder or wrapper .

This one is so light that it would need to be clamped to a work table or screwed down to one . It can be used without but you would have to hold the machine some when rolling .

I made the Chaveta out of flat steel , it is sharp but I need to sharpen it a little more .

Thats a neat roller. Judging by the size of the cigar, it looks close to what I get from my blunt roller. The big difference would be that your machine works with the whole bunch at once, whereas the blunt roller has to be filled a few leaves at a time -- stuff, roll, stuff, roll... I just do a binder with no wrapper on them.

What's the diameter of the cigar in the picture? I kind of like the smaller ring gauges.

Whole bunch at a time and scraps to .

With a tape measure and going straight across it is 7/16 " wide by 6 and 1/8 " long
I am sure someone can change it to ring gauge .

What about an adjustable mat?

I made the Chaveta out of flat steel ,..

You are a DIY master.
