I say smaller on the legero and Meta Fina cause they were 1/2 to 1/4 size depending on leaf sizes I had.
That also determined the size of the Piloto Seco, those leaves seemed small to other Piloto Seco leaves. I have used.
It normally takes me 4 leaves to make a 52rg by 6in cigar.
I had tried 1 Piloto Viso but it was to strong for my tastes.
This blend had a nice creaminess to it also. I think I just got lucky, I'm trying to duplicate that cigar again.

I have none of the Aleman Ligero. I do have some of the binder and some wrapper, but I don't think the strength is the same. Never tried the Ligero but I read it is mega strong.

The Aleman Liguero is/was flavorful. I just ran out of Aleman Seco and Liguero last week. The Liguero was rich, but I'm not sure about strong, unless you're referring to Nicotine. I've rolled Churchills with a whole leaf of the Aleman Liguero, they're were just too tasty. The one to grab now is Criollo 98' Viso as long as it's still at WLT.

+1 I love the bands. Tell us how you made them. Your rolling is really good too.
That´s not so hard , i bought ready made templates here

and a good friend has access to proffesional printer at his work , he did a simple design and printed them

The name Vaerenji comes from , this is a long story , phui

The short one is.
In the village i live in is called Väring (Vaering), the neighborhood has a long period of military history , more than 1000 years back , you probably know them as vikings , and the word vaering (väring) is the old name of private soldier
Some of them from this area was mercenaries who working for the turkish sultan under the viking period ( from year 800 to 1200 )and they was named vaeringar (i am not sure about what they was called in turkish , but maybe Istanbulin can help with this) . And i saw a program on tv about this turkish mercenaries Vaerenji´s that made me think i could call my cigars Vaerenji
Summary would be , Väring - Vaering - Vaeringar - Vaerenji thats the story behind the name

First attempt that actually resembles a cigar.
Made 2 from leaves of a Gold Virginia stem that got blown over in wind and I hung whole stem under trees to dry very sticky leaves and first one ssmoked great.
Very happy with it.
Can't wait for main crop to be ready. 20150222_123616.jpg20150222_123616.jpg
