Small rolling session this weekend.
Blend suggested by @Cigar
10E
Pioto seco
Criollo 98 ligero
Criollo 98 seco
Sumatra Binder
Ecuador Shade Wrapper

Equal parts on the filler.
My first time rolling with the Ecuador Shade. It is a beautiful wrapper, but not as forgiving as the Habano 2000.
I needed to be gentle with it or it could rip. Reminded me of the Sumatra, but when working with that I am doing a double binder so it is more resilient.
They are resting now so not sure on the taste yet.

I'm only reading this stics forum and watching beautiful cigars. I still don't have the right mold so I play yesterday and make few sticks by hand and newspaper.

F: Criollo 98 viso and ligero 1+1
Nicaragua Havano 2009 seco and viso 1+1
B: Burley 2013 (perique) 1
W: Machu Picchu 2014

They are huge. One is over 60 ring gauge. I have never smoke such a big cigar.
I even make perfecto now when webmost teach me how to do it.

Maybe she will this year. I found pocket book "Spanish with pronunciation". I hope I'm going to find her behind same table.
If you have any questions for her, let me know. It would be nice to answer some questions of some members, don't you think?

I have to say everyone posting pictures in this thread rolls some great looking smokes.
The wrappers all look good. I hope you all enjoy them.
I did it again to myself. I went into the humi and picked out an older rolled cigar with no band or info on it, and low and behold again it tasted like one of the best blends I have made and never wrote anything down or labeled the cigar. I am doing better on this labeling lately tho.

Damn, that is a nice perfecto, second one from the bottom in the second picture, laying on the ring gauge. Full rounded head, slight swell in the barrel, tapered end, just like I like them. Looks tasty, too.

Thanks guys. I definitely have cabin fever. I know people in the Midwest and northeast are probably ready to pull their hair out...

Charlie-

I'm starting to get upset with you!! You are forever banned from saying how great you blends are unless you can give me the details. Lol

The latest I have found with a note band on it that was a good smoke was this blend.
3-smaller Piloto Seco leaves
1/2 -Piloto Viso leaf
1/2 - smaller Almen Legero
1/2 - smaller Meta Fina leaf
One Sucker binder
With a Crillio 98 Wrapper

I am going to try rolling that blend with a Crillio 98 Legerio as I'm down to only 4 Almen Legero leaves.
If you try that blend Chris let me know what you think.
