I think I prefer it to the Habano 2000 wrapper, though I've only used that one in a kit so have no blending experience with it. It is very similar to work with. In a perfect world I'd like something very similar but a little less veiny and a little thinner (it's not the easiest leaf to do good triple caps with), but not exactly Ecuador shade....

Don't forget, you can do two tone caps and foot....Dark and Light contrast nicely, on just about any combo you keep in stock?

I often find that when I get to the remaining bits of leaf I end up two-tone whether I like it or not! :D

Here are the next 3 I completed (total of 7). Capping them off is being difficult;

Semper

Your caps are too big and too dry. That's why they are crinking around the edges.

Try this: Wrap a flag around the head (you'll find plenty videos showing how), then put a smaller cap just on the top ... not wrapping over the edges and coming down the sides.

Wet your cap leaf up good before you cut the cap, so that it can mold round the top.

You should see how fast I can move at my age, when a long cigar ash drops on my laptop computer keyboard. Ashtrays are our friends.

Had a rolling session with the trial tobacco Dan sent.

Same blend except for binder.
Top 5 are with a single PA Oscuro
Bottom 5 are with double Sumatra
Even parts on the filler.

Piloto Cubano Ligero
San Vincent Seco
Corojo OscuroWrapper

I will say the Corojo Oscuro Wrapper leaves are HUGE, but also slightly thick (been spoiled with the Habano 2000)
Capping was a little trying due to that thickness... but in the end, I roll so I can smoke.

Ill give some feedback on how they taste after a week or so of resting.

Cool, they look good. Yeah agree on the capping troubles.

I will get around to posting the final results of my 20-blend corojo-wrapped test pretty soon.

Lew they all look tasty with those nice oily looking wrappers. I will be glad to hear your review of the Corojo Oscuro wrapper. I've been holding off on that leaf till I read reviews on it.

Burning razor sharp! Another commercial quality photo. I can almost smell the rain. Nice work.

Had a few days off work and rolled a few Fat Dutchmans. Rolled 20 of each size, busy drying out.
